Mikkel Svane, Founder and CEO, Zendesk: After an inspirational trip to San Francisco in 1995, Mikkel launched what was one of Denmark's first horizontal community portals. Less than a year later the portal was acquired by a Danish newspaper and Mikkel founded Caput, a software company specializing in standard software components for community building and social networks. Serving as its CEO until 2002 he became General Manager for the German service management consulting group Materna. His tenure there reunited him with former friends and colleagues Morten and Alex with whom he founded Zendesk and launched it in October 2007. Mikkel holds a BSc(Econ) in Market Economics from Denmark, is a frequent Twitter user and loves spending time with his wife and kids when not working with his awesome team and Zendesk customers.

Chrys is the Co-founder and Chief Product Officer at Secret. Prior to Secret, Chrys was a Product Manager at Google where he launched the photo-sharing community Photovine and contributed To Google+ and YouTube. He has built and launched several mobile social products such as Fliggo, TwitVid, Vidly and Treehouse. Chrys was born and raised near Boston and is a Y Combinator alumni.

Wayne D. Kimmel is the Founder and Managing Partner of Artists & Instigators, a venture capital company that he founded in 1999 that invests in consumer product and services companies. Some of Wayne's most successful investments include:

 

SeamlessWeb (acquired by ARAMARK)

Take Care Health Systems (acquired by Walgreens), and

NutriSystem (NTRI), (top performing stock in the U.S. for 5 consecutive years).

 

In 2012, Philadelphia Magazine named Wayne as one of the "Top Innovators" in the Philadelphia region.


 

Jason Goldman grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and graduated with a degree in Astrophysics from Princeton University. He was part of the Blogger team acquired by Google in 2003. He worked as a product manager for Google from 2003 to 2006. In 2007, he helped start Twitter Inc where he was Head of Product and served on the board of directors until his departure in 2010. Along with Twitter co-founders Ev Williams and Biz Stone he started the Obvious Corporation in 2011 which has helped finance and found companies such as Branch and Medium.

Scott David Cook is a founder of Intuit, has been a director of Intuit since March 1983 and is currently Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Board. Many people know Intuit by it’s most well known product Quickbooks. Cook also serves on the boards of directors of eBay Inc., and The Procter & Gamble Company.

Michael Chasen is the CEO/Cofounder of Blackboard and Social Radar. 

 

Blackboard is one of the biggest enterprise and educational technology companies in the world with revenue of around $500 million and is used by over 9,300 institutions in more than 60 countries. He had helped raise $103 million in venture funding and led the company as CEO for 15 years and successfully sold it to Providence Equity Partners for $1.7 billion in 2011. He has a new startup called SocialRadar, a company focused on the mobile location services space and is building applications on smartphones and Google Glass that will change the way people connect.

Vinton G. Cerf is vice president and Chief Internet Evangelist for Google. He contributes to global policy development and continued spread of the Internet. Widely known as one of the "Fathers of the Internet," Cerf is the co-designer of the TCP/IP protocols and the architecture of the Internet.

 

He has served in executive positions at MCI, the Corporation for National Research Initiatives and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.

Cerf is a recipient of numerous awards and commendations in connection with his work on the Internet, including the US Presidential Medal of Freedom, US National Medal of Technology, the Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering, the Prince of Asturias Award, the Tunisian National Medal of Science, the Japan Prize, the Charles Stark Draper award, the ACM Turing Award and 21 honorary degrees.In December 1994, People magazine identified Cerf as one of that year's "25 Most Intriguing People."

 

His personal interests include fine wine, gourmet cooking and science fiction. Cerf and his wife, Sigrid, were married in 1966 and have two sons, David and Bennett.

Tony is the co-founder and CEO of about.me, the platform for representing personal identity online. In addition to founding about.me and blog search engine Sphere (acquired by Aol), he is a member of the True Ventures founding team, leading investments in WordPress.com, Blue Bottle Coffee, MakerBot, Typekit, High Fidelity and more. Tony is a T4O national co-chair of Technology for Obama. His interests include being a dad, travel, architecture, the Cubs, scuba and IRONMAN triathlons. He’s a graduate of Indiana University, Bloomington. Tony is originally from a small Indiana farming community, has lived in Paris, Jakarta, New Dehli, New York and currently lives in San Francisco.

Congressman Jared Polis is the cofounder of TechStars, BlueMountain, and ProFlowers.  A Democrat, Polis is the member of the United States House of Representatives for Colorado's 2nd congressional district, serving since 2009. He is a former member of the Colorado State Board of Education.  Polis along with his parents founded BlueMountainArts.com, an online greeting card website, which he sold to Excite@Home three years later in a deal worth $780 million. In 1998, he launched the online florist company ProFlowers that expanded to become Provide Commerce, Inc., acquired in 2006 by Liberty Media Corporation.
